TENANTS
Q:How much does this cost??
A:$200 (plus hst) or $300 depending on your needs. See details under "Tenants" tab.
Q: How does this all work?
A: You tell us what you are looking for and when you need it. We do the rest, locating properties that suit your needs and budget.
We are able to describe each one to you, because we go in advance to check them out. If permitted, we take pictures of the unit and send them to you with our comments. You tell us which ones you are interested in seeing.
We will provide the contact info for each landlord and you simply set up the appointments to suit your time frame to view them. We also let the landlord know they will be contacted by you and provide your contact info in case you have any difficulty reaching them.
In some rare cases,we may actually meet you at a few of your choices if the landlord wants us to do the showings instead of themselves.
If these don't suit you, we keep on looking for you.
Once you have selected the one you want, you deal directly with the landlord.
Q: What if I find something myself, that Rental Hounds Apartment Finding Service didn’t show me?
A: Congratulations! The important thing is to get you a place that makes you happy. We will be searching hard on your behalf, involving a lot of time and gas. However sometimes people come across things through word of mouth, that are not advertised. If that is the case, simply inform us and we shall close the file. There are NO REFUNDS if you find something on your own.
Q: If I want to find a different place later on, can I contact you again?
A: Absolutely! We love repeat customers and since we have already worked with you once, we will be even better equipped to help you the next time, since we know your preferences. There will be a fee charged again, as it is new case, involving our time and gas.
LANDLORDS
Q: How does this work, if I am a landlord?
A: You need to contact the owner, Jacqueline Wilt. She will be happy to explain how we can help you rent that vacancy. You will like her policy that there is no fee to be paid up front, and in fact, you only pay us if we rent it before you do! See the Contact Us tab.
